In a cagey match between the 4s and Crowborough both teams demonstrated remarkable skill and determination, resulting in an unlucky 3-3 draw. There should have been one more ?

After some lateness, no naming and shaming middies lined up aggressively with all three mains starting for the first time. After a strong attack from Crowborough and a strong tackle from Henners gave them a penalty corner early on. With the mains running hard out the CF snuck the ball just past Alex sending it into the bottom corner out of reach from Toby and just under Phill. However this sent the 4s into fight mode with Harry and Alex using there blistering pace to work it round the back. The 4s counter attack proved effective as Harry main slotted the ball past the keeper bring the score level. I’m just going to skip right over the rest of the first half as it’s not relevant apart from Alex mains ability to dribble the length of the pitch and acc get an awesome shot on target first time for everything.

Now onto the second half after an strong team talk from El Capitan middies entered the match with level heads the players stated to fight hard to get the deserved lead however Crowborough fought back and scored 2-1 however the rest of the half we seamed to have prime Buffon in goal Toby brought out some heroics keeping the game close then, Harry, Harry main how good have u become scoring a masterpiece of a second goal now the scores level once more. After some scrappy bits of paly Crowborough scored again now 3-2 however in the dying moments of the game Henners stepped up after a rocky first half to give us the magic to get a point.

Over all a game with controversy but at least we stayed in it. With an outstanding debut performance to Ben mains linking up with his brothers. But Toby arrived with vengeance from the first half of the season and did the job magnificently. But man of the match and undoubtedly with his best performance was Harry main two goals to keep us in it with some silky skill as well heinies taught u the ways of old. Dod - there’s two options, bens mid match argument with heinie or some of the post match antics by a slightly hungover muss. I think it’s gonna have to be clean sweep by myself. U lot thought I wasn’t gonna mention it but it should have been a goal but oh well I’ll just shave down my Astros for next time and install VAR to ardingly we might need it

PS. the fours had a great showing at pub golf we put all the other teams to shame as always. Up the 4s
